In October i went to New York to watch one of my childhood friends marry his perfect match. While I was there the other friends who I was staying with told me about Natures Variety Instinct. They have two adorably sweet 75 lb pitbulls and both are fed this raw food diet.
I was amazed how healthy, shiny, and active they were on the amount of food they ate. Not to mention how tiny their poops were. Considering their size it was kind of ridicoulous.
When I got back I did a little reasearch and found a lot of positive feedback on adding raw food for dogs as well as cats.
I have three Chihuahuas ages 12,6, and 6 months they are all fed Royal Canin kibble but have had various digestive issues (w/ one or all)with wet foods no mater the brand or price. I added Instinct two times a day to my trio of pals diets.
Sailor and Joey loved it immediately Sabine I had to mix a teaspoon of wet food for a few days before she got used to it.
Joey is new and a puppy and so they only changes I have seen in him is the size of his poop which was quite large for such a small dog, now its 1/2 the size. Why? Because the less fillers the less waste.
Sabine is ultra shiny and energetic.
Sailor I have noticed the most difference. Her pelt is lovely and extra beautiful. Her energy is up, she just look even better and seems like she feels really good.
Also zero digestive issues with any of them.
On many of the testimonials I read this diet has helped with many food allergy issues.
