These are a unique branded line of wristbands featuring a wide selection of contemporary artist images. Each piece is printed on fine art paper placed under a scratch resistant cover and set securely inside a stainless steel frame, it can then can be locked magnetically into a wide variety of wristband. Materials include Italian Calf,Python, Vintage cow, in a large variety of colors.
Currently all wristbands are made out of leather and animal skin but in the future there will be non animal based materials to choose from as well.
Each band arrives in a lovely window front box for display, and the artwork comes in a separate box magnetically locking onto a chrome pedestal to display as a wall frame when not wearing on your wristband. There is a handy “build a band” Tool on the website that shows you what each band color way will look like with your selected artwork pick. Currently they have 19 artists to choose from each artist has two to four images so it’s a fairly large selection.
In the future Mophik plans to expand into pendants as well as a thinner band and one a bit wider to showcase horizontal prints.
I think these are a very innovative way to show support for your favorite artist. I love how each one has a section description and link to individual sites on the Morphik website.
With each purchase 10% of profits are donated to a charity chosen by each artist.
