Hilary Duff taking Tacky to the next level in unauthorize fictional biopic about actress Sharon tate
Hilary Duff is portraying Sharon Tate in an upcoming part fictional biopic of the late actresses time leading up to her brutal murder by the Manson family. Which is neither hear nor there as far as casting pick or the fact that the main story line apparently is part fiction.
The issue here is the fact Hilary Duff thought it was cute to post a photo of herself on set in costume with a swaddled teddy bear captioned “ had the baby”
I find it problematic that she would think this was an appropriate statement to make to her 8.8 million followers on instagram. Sharon Tate was brutally murdered along with her full term child. Her death was a nightmare to her family who actually live in Los Angeles and have seen this insensitive joke. I think public figures should at least try to conduct themselves with a higher standard of behavior,because they do influence other people’s thought process in ways they can not even imagine. Breeding insensitivity is a shameful act.
I hope she issues an apology to her fans and the Tate Family.
The Haunting of Sharon Tate “is supposably inspired by a quote from Sharon Tate, from an interview published a year before her death, wherein she reveals having dreams about ghosts haunting her house and foreseeing her own death at the hands of a satanic cult.” And possibly knowing she would have her throat slit.
The quote and “premonition has been refuted by Sharon’s sister Debra.
