I am a woman approaching my 40s so of course I like to research magical health and vanity techniques. I have a lot of information to give on skin and health care actually but today I will focus on endermologie.
I was actually researching lymphatic massage and came across this massage technique.
If you don’t know what that is, it’s a massage technique for ” cellulite treatment for cellulite reduction “. Because most women have some cellulite.
I thought “well ,what the hell I don’t really have a lot of cellulite but I have a little, what if it actually works.” So I found a place in my area that looked like a business I would feel comfortable going to and one where I could ask a lot of questions.
I figured if it was a waste of time i would have an experience to share with anyone else looking in to this.
Ladies (and men?) I would say really don’t bother with this. Apparently its a long-term commitment. I asked the proprietor for instance how many visits does cottage cheese ass to smooth ass require?
She laughed and said about 20+ at $100 a visit that is $2000
In fact she also said a client who was a high paid model who was 17 and had cellulite.
(Random image taken from google searching.)
Now, if you have $2000 plus $100 every two weeks to a month to spend on smoothing out your cellulite. And It makes you feel better about yourself then by all means have at it.
But in my opinion its a waste of time and money.
Of course I’m sure results may vary but the constant maintenance and treatments do not.
It does sort of feel good. You wear a weird nude nylon jumpsuit (well at the place i went to you do)and the machine feels like a vacuum sucking on your muscles. Also it is a type of massage which can not be bad for you. Right?
I prefer sports massage myself.
Eating healthy, taking supplements, drinking a bunch of water, combined with exercise is a more effective cellulite reduction program in my opinion.
Anyone else have experience with this?

While I agree with you that diet and exercise are key to being healthy I actually had a really good experience with Endermologie when I tried it about 5 years ago. The experience was weird for sure. I’m not sure which evil person decided that the full body stocking you wear should be white (Flattering, no?)
I didn’t have a BUNCH of cellulite all over but enough on my thighs to make me self conscious. I was actually in pretty good shape back then but this cellulite just would not go anywhere. I balked at the price and couldn’t afford more than 4 or 5 sessions. BUT, I actually saw a really dramatic difference. That was 5 years ago and although I have cellulite now it’s nowhere near what I had before.
So, my advice would be to try it if you have the money to experiment with but I didn’t find it necessary to keep going back. I’m sure everyone is different though.
Thank you so much, its great to have another point of view. From what she told me it was a constant commitment, but also makes money doing this service for her livelihood so probably tells every client that.
Of course! 😉 She wouldn’t want to be talking herself out of business. My lady told me it was a commitment too but my wallet said it wouldn’t be happening hahah. I think it’s one of those things that definitely has different results for everyone. 😉
haha After one time i thought that. I would rather save and get IPL or Skincare products, thats my vanity weakness Dermalogica.
