When i entered my 30’s i suddenly became obsessed with taking care of my skin. I will not leave the house with out sunscreen on my face and body, drink a ton of water, switched my diet to more vegan and raw foods and started repairing the sun damage from all those years of no sun screen and not even thinking about long-term effects of diet and environment.
Lucky for me I have good genes, so being almost 40 I still have no need for any sort of fillers etc but I have had IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) which is used to remove pigmentation of sunspots, redness or broken capillaries.
One of my close friends told me about E-Matrix her sister works for a Laser Skin Care Center Here in Southern California. They happened to be running a special and I thought I might as well try it. I do love skin treatments and also it will give me something to write about.
E-Matrix is a skin resurfacing treatment. Which uses bipolar radio frequency via a matrix of electrodes vs laser which can be used on all skin types and hues.
The radio frequency energy deep heats your skin inducing controlled skin injury which elicits a healing response including collagen production.
After three treatments your skin is brighter, firmer and if you had wrinkles a 90% reduction is visible.
I had uneven skin tone. And Now I don’t. My skin also looks literally 10 years younger which is amazing.
There’s about 4-6 days after each treatment where your skin looks a little weird. Like you have tiny dots in the shape of 1/2 inch squares all over. You can cover it up with makeup right after treatment but really it doesn’t look that bad your just square face for a few days then 4-6 weeks later your skin is producing extra collagen and your skin looks beautiful.
This treatment is especially good for people who have acne scars. I have seen images where the person has deep scarring and after treatment has smooth skin. SO if you have acne scarring and you would rather not E Matrix is a really good option for removal.
Otherwise it’s used for :
- Wrinkles
- Scars
- Acne scars
- Textural irregularities
- Tone
- Superficial skin lesions
I also highly recommend The Laser Skin Care Center I went to they are very nice answer a million questions and do a good extra deep treatment, and run frequent promotions.
