On a small island located in theInland Sea of Japan there is an island where you can stay at a hotel, golf,camp, visit the poison gas museum, see ruins of the gas manufacturing plant from WWII and feed snacks and kibbles to the herds of tame feral rabbits.

If rabbit island is not your cup of tea you can also visit Cat island also located in Japan of course (where else?), this island is also inhabited by a small population of people.
The moto of this island is: feeding cats will bring good wealth and fortune. They must have allot of luck and all the good fortune they could need.

There is another island inhabited by monkeys located in Puerto Rico. It is a research only island where you cannot visit unless you are a researcher, and you probably wouldn’t want to anyway because moneys bite.
And obviously Madigascar the fourth largest island in the world where 90% of the plants and animals there are unique to the island.
